Best Restaurants in Mayfair 2026: 10 Tables for Dinner and a Party

Mayfair has more restaurants that double as a night out than anywhere else in London. These are the ten we would book in 2026, checked against each restaurant’s own hours and dress rules in October: where it is, how late it runs, and whether the party happens at the table, at the bar or in a room downstairs.

How we chose

Every restaurant here is in Mayfair, takes table bookings, and is somewhere a group goes for the evening rather than just the food. We left out members-only rooms and anywhere we could not confirm is open. Hours and dress codes come from each restaurant’s own website or booking page; anything they do not publish, we do not claim.

1. Sexy Fish — Berkeley Square

Cuisine: Asian-inspired seafood

The room most people mean when they say Mayfair dinner with a scene. Sexy Fish sits on Berkeley Square and runs from noon until 1am Monday to Saturday (midnight on Sunday), so a 9pm table rolls straight into the late bar without moving on. See the Sexy Fish page.

2. Novikov — Berkeley Street

Cuisine: Pan-Asian and Italian

Two kitchens under one roof on Berkeley Street, with a DJ lounge that carries the evening on after dinner. The door is clear about the code: smart and elegant, with no sportswear, beachwear, hoodies, shorts or hats. See the Novikov page.

3. Amazónico — Berkeley Square

Cuisine: South American

A jungle-dressed dining room, bar and sushi counter at 10 Berkeley Square, open from midday. Last bookings are 11pm (10pm on Sunday), and live music and DJs play on selected nights, so ask for the night you want when you book. See the Amazónico page.

4. Park Chinois — Berkeley Street

Cuisine: Chinese

Lavish Chinese dining at 17 Berkeley Street, Tuesday to Sunday from 6pm. Downstairs, Club Chinois runs until 2am Tuesday to Saturday and midnight on Sunday, the closest thing in Mayfair to dinner and a club in one booking. The upstairs Salon de Chine has been under refurbishment, so confirm which room you are in. See the Park Chinois page.

5. Coya Mayfair — Piccadilly, by Hyde Park Corner

Cuisine: Peruvian

Peruvian cooking, a pisco bar and a Latin soundtrack at 118 Piccadilly. Coya hosts live music, DJs and Latin events, and dinner runs late, to around 1am most nights, which makes it one of the easiest Mayfair tables to turn into a full evening.

6. Hakkasan Mayfair — Bruton Street

Cuisine: Cantonese

Modern Cantonese cooking just off Berkeley Square, with a bar that brings in a resident DJ from Wednesday to Saturday and stays open until 1am Thursday to Saturday. Hakkasan asks for smart dress: no sportswear, tracksuits, hats, flip-flops or hoods up.

7. Gaïa — Dover Street

Cuisine: Mediterranean

Bright Mediterranean dining at 50 Dover Street from lunchtime, with the restaurant closing at 10:30pm (11:30pm on Friday and Saturday). The late part of the night is NYX, the lounge downstairs, where DJs play after dinner; it is booked separately from the restaurant, so ask for both. Smart elegant, with no shorts, sportswear or beachwear. See the Gaïa page.

8. Bagatelle — Dover Street

Cuisine: French-Mediterranean

The day-to-night party restaurant at 34 Dover Street, open Wednesday to Sunday evenings from 6:30pm (7:30pm on Sunday) and until 1am Thursday to Saturday. Resident DJs and performers set the pace; the code is smart-elegant and athletic wear is not allowed. See the Bagatelle page.

9. Bacchanalia — Mount Street

Cuisine: Greek and Mediterranean

A theatrical dining room at 1 Mount Street with live performers and roving musicians between the courses. It opens at midday and runs until 12:30am (midnight on Sunday), so it works as well for a long lunch as for a celebration dinner. See the Bacchanalia page.

10. Carbone London — Grosvenor Square

Cuisine: Italian-American

The New York institution, now at 30 Grosvenor Square. Carbone is the one on this list that is about dinner rather than a party: lunch and dinner daily, with dinner finishing at 10pm, red booths and serious pasta. No shorts, open-toed shoes or tank tops. See the Carbone London page.

Just outside Mayfair

Piraña, at 7–9 St James’s Street, has a DJ every night and runs until 1am, a short walk from Piccadilly. Lucky Cat on Grosvenor Square brings in DJs to its bar on Friday and Saturday. For the clubs to go on to afterwards, see the best nightclubs in Mayfair.
