There is no venue in Mayfair with a higher celebrity pull than Tape. Set on Bruton Lane in a converted townhouse, it's deliberately small β around 300 capacity β with a sound system built for R&B and hip hop. Tables are split across a mezzanine level and dancefloor-adjacent booths.
Tape is the go-to for Premier League footballers, music industry insiders and fashion-world regulars. If you want to be in a room where something might happen, this is it.

The crowd is mixed β students with older professionals, models with city workers β which gives it a more democratic feel than its peers while still being firmly in the premium tier.
It runs Wednesday through Saturday and is one of the more consistent performers in Mayfair week to week. A strong choice for a first-time Mayfair visit or groups that want to be sure they'll have a good night rather than chasing prestige.

Selene is a strong pick if you want a contemporary Mayfair club with a genuine dance-floor energy β book a table on a weekend and you're in one of the most sought-after rooms in W1.

The music is hip hop, R&B and dancehall, and the crowd is international and switched-on. It's the venue you take visitors to when you want to show off London nightlife.
It runs Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and Saturday tables sell out weeks ahead.
